What we collect
- Account data: name, email, company, password hash.
- Fax data: the documents you send or receive, the numbers involved, page counts, timestamps and delivery status.
- Payment data: handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We store only a customer reference, amounts and invoice ids. We never see your card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs used to prevent abuse.
How we use it
To transmit and deliver your faxes, bill you, send service emails such as delivery confirmations, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your documents for anything other than your fax.
Who we share it with
Telecommunications carriers that transmit your fax, our payment processor for card payments, and our email provider for notifications. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Retention
Guest documents are deleted after delivery. Account documents remain until you delete them. Delivery records and invoices are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.
Security
Connections are encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. API credentials are encrypted at rest. Documents are served to carriers through single-use expiring links. Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from your account settings or by contacting us. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA which we honour on request.
