1. The service

PlusFax ("we", "us") provides online fax transmission and reception ("the Service") through this website. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not send unsolicited advertising faxes, harassing content, or material you do not have the right to transmit. We may suspend accounts that violate this clause or that receive complaints from recipients or carriers.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Fees and payment

Prices are shown before you pay. One-off faxes are charged per transmission. Prepaid balances are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law. Subscription plans renew monthly until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Pages beyond a plan allowance are billed at the plan's per-page rate against your balance.

5. Delivery

We transmit faxes over third-party carrier networks and cannot guarantee that a receiving machine will answer. Failed transmissions are reported to you and, for account holders, refunded automatically to your balance or plan allowance. Delivery confirmation reflects the receiving machine's acknowledgement.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to documents you send or receive. We process them only to provide the Service. You can delete stored documents at any time from your account. We may delete guest documents after delivery and inactive account documents after a reasonable retention period.

7. Fax numbers

Numbers assigned under a plan remain ours and are licensed to you for the duration of the plan. We may change a number where a carrier requires it, with notice where possible. Numbers are released when a plan ends.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from delayed or failed transmission.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
